About Monica

Monica Azpurua has been in the Real Estate business for over 15 years. First, as a real estate investor and a licensed agent, rising to broker of Distinctive Realty Services.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barry University with a degree in Communications and Languages.

Before entering the real estate arena, Ms. Azpurua worked on television as news anchor for local, National & International award winning television shows. Some of her responsibilities included producing, writing and creating news pieces that would interest a vast and diverse audience, while at the same time creating a balance in a fast pace business.

Real Estate also presents challenges similar to journalism. Each home is unique and has its own story to be presented & told to an audience of discriminating buyers or sellers.

Ms. Azpurua's transition to real estate has been successful in part to her commitment to continue education. She has earned the Certified International Property Specialist(CIPS),Certified Residential Specialist(CRS),Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist(CLHMS).
